Baden’s Monthly Good-News-Letter serving Wilmot Township

In August 2000, the Baden Outlook was born. As the years go by, Wilmot continues to grow and so does the Baden Outlook. The first publication began with just 14 pages and was hand-delivered throughout the town of Baden, until months later, we delivered by mail to every home in town. Eventually, we increased our print quantity making drop off locations throughout the township so everyone can access the paper in Wilmot. Over the course of time, we purchased two commercial printers and printed from our basement at home. In 2019, we decided to improve print quality and add colour, so we took our business to Ritz Printing in New Hamburg, who have been amazing to work with.

The Baden Outlook is a fun, positive, uplifting publication, featuring local history, community events, fun facts, and homespun brain games—distributed around the 15th of each month.

We are fortunate to have local writers share their stories, passions, community spirit, and expertise. Our paper is based on submissions as we are happy to be your voice. We love keeping the community connected. We are thankful for our committed proofreaders who stand by each month and make us shine. We are blessed with continued support from local advertising which makes the paper possible. Please support the advertisers in our paper and keep our community alive and thriving!

The paper is created monthly with approximately 3000 papers printed, containing 36-40 pages of easy and interesting reading. We distribute to over 75 “pick-up” locations throughout Wilmot Township, including six Outlook boxes situated in the town of Baden. We keep the paper free, so everyone can enjoy our good-news-letter.

The Baden Outlook is happy to be your voice. Whether you have a feel-good story, an exciting announcement, or a local event you want to promote … we would love to hear from you! This is your paper to share with your neighbours. And remember, don’t forget to take your paper on vacation with you, and share your fun with us. Have fun staging the photo with your Outlook and let us know where you’ve been.
